The following Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) apply to all individuals and/or entities posting job opportunities including Owners/Riders, and to Assists/Grooms using ShowAssist for the purpose of review, identifying and applying for job opportunities posted within the mobile application. By using the mobile application, Owners/Riders and Assists/Grooms (collectively “Users”) agree to be bound by these terms.
Users are solely responsible for the postings, content, images, profiles, materials and other information that they post within the mobile application or transmit to other users of the mobile application and agree that such content will not be false, inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of their obligations under these terms.
Users agree to respect the security of the mobile application and will not attempt to revise or delete material posted by any other user, to gain access to areas private to ShowAssist or its users or do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation and purpose of the mobile application, or conduct any activities that may be illegal, or in any way violates the terms and policies of ShowAssist.
Users agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ShowAssist and its officers, members, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, actions or demands, without limitation to reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from any user’s breach of terms.
ShowAssist builds connections between Owners and Riders and Assists and Grooms within the Equine Industry. It post job opportunities at show competitions on its mobile application for informational purposes to the general public. It makes no explicit or implicit warranties regarding the content nor does it promote, sponsor or otherwise endorse individuals or businesses listed in the mobile application. ShowAssist reserves the right to remove any postings or users in violation of its terms and policies and as it deems necessary. ShowAssist is not an employer, agent or recruiter and does not screen content and is not responsible for the postings or the services performed as a result of the postings.
Cash Pay Payment Processing
Owners, Trainers, Riders are charged a convenience fee of $10 using Stripe payment processing - a third party payment platform, upon hiring the Assist or Groom, and can pay the support staff in cash at the end of each job. *If the job is not awarded, the convenience fee is not assessed.
Automatic Payment Processing:
Automatic payments are processed using Stripe 24 hours before the start of the job period (if awarded) and released to the Assist or Groom within 24 to 48 hours at the end of the job period. A service fee of 5% and a convenience fee of $10 are also assessed. *If the job is not awarded, the service and convenience fee along with the pay offered are not assessed.
Awarded jobs can be cancelled within the app by the Owner/Rider or Assist/Groom, up to 24 hours before the job starts free of charge.
ShowAssist mission is to build connections within the industry. No-shows, non-payment or any other abuse or violation of any of ShowAssist Terms and Policies are grounds for suspension and permanent termination from future use.

These terms will remain in full force and effect while the User is using ShowAssist mobile application and with regard to any content ever posted therein. ShowAssist reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal rights in connection with User’s use of the mobile application including but not limited to removal of postings, temporary or permanent suspension from any future use of the mobile application as a result of violation of its Terms and policies. ShowAssist reserves the right to modify or change the Terms of the mobile application in the best interest of ShowAssist.
